Worldwide distribution company Russ Berrie, formally instructed Birkdale Projects Ltd, to undertake an internal refurbishment in their UK headquarters at Tower Industrial Estate, Eastleigh.
The works included the removal of a number of internal glazed offices and meeting rooms and re-installing these partitions into various locations over both the ground and first floors.
To enable these works to commence and indeed be completed, there were a wide range of ancillary items of re-position which were required within the existing buildings services infrastructure.
These included mains power and IT re-routing from the primary power distribution board and servers, along with the isolation of existing high level lighting, air conditioning and sprinkler systems which were re-positioned and re-commissioned on completion of the core office partitioning.
All low level under floor telecommunications connections and terminals were disconnected and re-connected successfully, without any major disruption to the existing primary IT and communication call centres.
