We were instructed to work in liaison with local planning and building control on the expansion of the existing Pro Tyre Depot, to create a completely new extension which would then promote Pro Tyre Portsmouth as its flagship depot.
After lengthy negotiations through the design and planning process, on receipt of planning consent we commenced the tendering and trade package selection process in preparation for commencing construction.
This was a completely new build project, from initial ground and drainage works through to practical completion, commissioning and submission of the final O&M manuals for the project.
We worked closely with the clients architects, structural engineers and PQS to deliver the whole scheme on budget and on programme We then moved on to the specialised internal fit out and machinery installation, to accommodate the clients trading commencement deadline.
The successful undertaking of this primary project management and construction project for Micheldever Group, introduced the ability for us to attach Birkdale as a preferred contractor for a number of associated trade businesses within the vehicle servicing sector.
